One of my greatest passions in life is travelling. Whether it's a short bus ride to a local tourist spot, or a long-haul flight to the other side of the world. My aim is to capture the cultures of the countries I visit, to share with others. None of my photographs have been edited, because I believe the beauty I have seen should remain unaltered.

Rumours, Lies and Elusive Truth of the Internet
If we see something in print, we trust that the truth in the story has been verified. This isn't necessarily the same for online news. With digital journalism, people seem to believe the story more credible when it's all over the internet. It's harder to determine with digital journalism if a story has gone viral because of the interesting and engaging truth, or because people believe it to be truthful and share it with their friends and family.

The Number of Men Keen to Join Kingston’s ‘Down to Earth’ Cheerleading Society Flies Sky High. Kingston Cheerleading society sees a record number of men interested in joining the female dominated sport since it was founded. Of the nearly 250 students signed up at fresher’s fayre, around 10% were men – in comparison to less than half that the previous year.

Kingston student killed in South Harrow knife attack
A Kingston university student has died after being stabbed in savage attack in a busy high street. Hussein Ahmed was pronounced dead last Wednesday, after his life-support machine was turned off. The 19-year-old from Edgware was pulled off his bicycle as a gang of men confronted him outside the Kebabish takeaway on Northolt Road, Harrow, on Friday, November 18 at 5.10pm.

Kingston police to wear some of 22,000 body cameras issued in London by Metropolitan Police
The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) has launched what is thought to be the largest issuing in the world of officer-worn body cameras, and Kingston will be in phase three of the deployment. Although an exact date is yet to be set, it is expected to be in effect by spring 2017, when every officer who comes in to contact with the public regularly as well as front line officers will be issued a body camera.

KU lecturer develops “alternative art school” for students
At university, we have a strict routine. We have four modules, weekly timetabled classes, and a calendar of assignments which sets out the upcoming academic year. Each September, we are able to know exactly what we will be doing, academically speaking, six months down the line. Our courses are designed to be inflexible, so we can anticipate what is expected from us throughout the year.

Students shortchanged on tenancy deposit refunds
Kingston University students were yesterday refunded their deposits from University accredited properties, only to find that some have been short-changed. Headed tenancy is a database of landlords accredited by the university available exclusively for Kingston University students. A number of students have complained to the finance and accommodation office at the Penrhyn Road student life centre, saying they received less money back than they should’ve done after a long wait to have their deposits returned.

Originally from a small town in South Wales, I moved to London to study towards a journalism degree from Kingston University.

I am skilled at writing news and features, and I am creative using software like InDesign and PremierePro.

Along with writing, one of my biggest passions in life is travelling, and I enjoy taking photographs of the countries I visit. I spent the summer of 2016 volunteering in Kenya and I hope to one day emigrate to the east coast of Australia.

I am also interested in sports and fitness. I am member of Kingston University’s gymnastic squad and I enjoy surfing.
